“ My boyfriend and I landed in CDMX and knew this place would be our first stop. We've read the mixed reviews, we heard about the 2 hour wait times, but we wanted to try it for ourselves. We grabbed an Uber from our hotel and headed here. It really is hidden amongst local shops and eateries. To our complete amazement on a Tuesday evening there was NO LINE! I felt like we hit the jackpot! We ordered steak, rib, and filet tacos. They make them ready to go. Very minimalistic; tortilla, meat, and they offer two different salsas for your choosing. They have a salsa Verde with cilantro and onion in it and a Smokey brown sauce. I opted for the green sauce. It had a nice kick to it. Our favorite tacos were the rib. All the tacos were flavorful and the tortillas, for me, were the stars. Overall I was happy with the service and food, I can definitely see why they earned a Michelin star! ”

Don't get me wrong, the cuts of meat were great and the fresh tortillas were delicious, but I was hoping for a bit more overall since it has a Michelin star. “ Pretty tasty tacos even when considering so many in cdmx are so good. The ingredients do speak for themselves and you don't need extra accoutrements. You do get 2 portions per order so fyi on that. Limited seating and usually a fair length line but def worth it if you're in the area or considering coming ”
